Grew up dancing at the Bothell Dance Studio with Ray Bussey (That's Jazz) and Cheryl Johnson and Anthony Peters (Tap Dance Seattle).

At age 17 she was selected by Marion Coles and Cholly Atkins for a scholarship in honor of Honi Coles to the Portland International Tap Festival

At age 18 she moved to Los Angeles, California to join the Jazz Tap Ensemble under the artistic direction of Lynn Dally and with dancers that included Sam Weber, Mark Mendonca, Channing Cook-holmes, Steve Zee, and Roxane butterfly.

She was the choreographer and teacher for the Jazz Tap Ensemble's Youth program "The Caravan Project" from 1999 to 2007.

While living in Californi she taught at "The Tap Academy" in Santa Monica.

after she relocated back to the Pacific Northwest she taught at the Premier Dance Center in Redmond Washington.
