Their magazine featured an eclectic mix of advice, stories, and poems, and illustrations related to outdoor country activities and topics such as gardening, conservation, crafts, and folklore. The magazine's founders authored a book "The Complete Country Bizarre Number 1-11", published by Astragal Books in 1976. All eleven issues of "Country Bizarre Magazine" have been archived by the editors of Caught by the River Dot Net and the issues are available on that Web site for viewing or downloading.
