2005 IDO Tap Dance World Championships

General information about the 2005 Tap Dance World Championships, a competitive tap dancing event organized by the International Dance Organization (IDO). The IDO was established in 1981 to organize competitions for dance forms not covered by other international dancing federations and governing bodies.

EVENT: 2005 IDO Tap Dance World Championships
LOCATION: Riesa, Germany
NOTE: Tap dancers from Austria, Estonia, Moldova participated in the IDO tap dancing world championships for the first time in 2005. A German team from the Riesa-Gro?enhain Music and Art School, under the direction of Georgi Marinov, competed in formations category. The United States sent 12 tap dancers to the 2005 Tap worlds.
