About PhilDance: IDO Philippines

Information about the Philippines Dance Culture Arts and Sports Federation, also known as "PhilDance", an organization established in February of 2019 as the Filipino chapter of the International Dance organization (IDO).

PhilDance is a dance federation and governing body based in the Philippines that was established in early 2019 to acredit, endorse, and facilitate Filipino dancers' participation in international dance competitions governed and sanctioned by the International Dance Organization (IDO).

IDO Welcomes PhilDance February 2019 (Press Release)
The International Dance Organization (IDO) is delighted to confirm "PhilDance - IDO Philippines" as a new probationary member of the IDO. The occasion was celebrated in the presence of IDO President Michael Wendt. Wendt said: "I am very happy to welcome PhilDance and the wonderful and truly skilled dancers from the Philippines in the IDO-Family. I am looking forward to a successful future in dance in the Philippines in the IDO-sector. Let me thank the President Mr. Raul Dominic I. Badilla “Nino” and especially Ms. Ana Dulce B. Yango for their wonderful and professional preparation work And also Aleena Tan from Singapore for having made the precious contact and friendship to our new friends in the Philippines.
