Jay Johns did one tap dance on Season 4, Episode 8 of "So You Think You Can Dance United Kingdom". He also performed several other dance styles in duo performances with other dancers and once he performed as an ensemble with three other dancers.

Episode 4-01 (February 23, 2014): Top 20
Jay Johns performed with three other dancers: Joel Rasmussen, Nadiah Idris, and Youngkwang Joung. They danced to The Contours "Do You Love Me" in a routine choreographed by Christopher Scott. During that round, Rasmussen and Idris both ended up in the bottom three.

Episode 4-01 (March 2, 2-14): Top 20
Jay Johns performed a jazz dance with Ashleigh Taveras and they both ended up safe. They danced to Pharrell Williams' "Happy" in a routine choreographed by Simon Lynn.

Jay Johns performed a contemporary dance with Ashleigh Taveras and they both ended up safe. They danced Damien Rice's "One" in a routine choreographed by Debbie Ellis.

Jay Johns performed a lyrical hip hop dance with Ashleigh Taveras and Johns ended up in the bottom three, but was not eliminated. They danced "Hold On, We're Going Home" by Drake and Majid Jordan in a routine choreographed by Parris Goebel.

Episode 4-06 (April 3, 2014): Top 12
Jay Johns performed a hip hop dance with Patric Kuo and Kuo ended up in the bottom two, but was not eliminated. They danced "Give It Up Or Turn It Loose" by James Brown in a routine choreographed by Charles Bartley. I believe Zoey Black also performed a solo dance in this episode.

Episode 4-07 (April 10, 2014): Top 10
Jay Johns performed a contemporary dance with Zoey Black and at the end of the episode Black was eliminated. They danced "Wild Horses" by Natasha Bedingfield in a routine choreographed by Brendan Yeates.

SOLO: Jay Johns performance a solo tap dance in episode 8, to the song "Hey Pachuco" by the Royal Crown Review. He also Performed a contemporary dance to "Amazing Grace" with Renelle Jones and a Paso Doble with Renelle Jones to "El Tango de Roxanne". Both dancers ended up safe in this episode
