Tap Finalists on "So You Think You Can Dance" (U.K.)

Information about all of the tap dancing finalists who competed on the British version of the "So You Think You Can Dance" television program. Matt Flint on Season 2 Episodes

16 April 2011
Matt Flint performed a group tap dance with four other dancers to two songs "I Can Do That" from the musical a Chorus Line and "Anything Goes" from the musical by the same name. The routine's choreographer was Karen Bruce and the other dancers were Charlotte Scally, Lee Bridgman, Paige Smith, and Tom Shilcock. No dancers were eliminated from the competition in this round.

23 April 2011
Matt Flint performed a Foxtrot with Charlotte Scally to the song "The Way You Look Tonight" by Maroon 5. The dance was choreographed by Chris and Jaci. Both dancers ended up safe.

30 April 2011
Matt Flint performed a jazz dance duet with Charlotte Scally to the song "Relax" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The dance was choreographed by Mandy Moore. Both dancers ended up safe.

7 May 2011
Matt Flint danced a Broadway style dance duet with Charlotte Scally to the song "Sing Sing Sing" by Louis Prima. The dance was choreographed by Bill Dreamer. Both dancers ended up safe.

14 May 2011
Matt Flint danced a Lindy Hop dance with Charlotte Scally to the song "Shout and Feel It" by Count Basie. The dance was choreographed by Ryan Francois. Both dancers ended up safe.

21 May 2011
Matt Flint danced a disco dance with Charlotte Scally to the song "You Should Be Dancing" from "Saturday night Fever". The dance was choreographed by Karen Bruce. Both dancers ended up safe.

Week 7 (28 May 2011
Matt Fliny performed twice in Episode 7, once as a solo act and once as a duo act. His solo was a tap dance to the Stevie Wonder song "I Wish". His duo was a rumba performed with Kirsty Swain to the song "Liberian Girl" by Michael Jackson. Both dancers ended up safe.

4 June 2011
Matt Flint performed twice in Episode 8, once as a solo act and once as a duo act. His solo was a tap dance to the song "Butterfly" by Jason Mraz. His duo was a contemporary dance performed with Katie Love to the song "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler. Flint ended up safe and Love ended up in the bottom 4, but was not eliminated.

11 June 2011 (Solo Tap Dance)
Matt Flint performed three times in Episode 9, once as a solo act and twice as a duo. He performed a solo tap dance to the song "Ain't Got No Life" by Nina Simone. He performed a jazz dance with Katie Love to the song "Heads Will Roll" by Yeah Yeah Yeah. He performed a foxtrot with Kirsty Swain to the song "Heaven" by DJ Sammy. This was the final episode of Season 9. Matt Flint finished the season in first place, Luke Jackson finished in second place, Kirsty Swain finished in third place and Katie Love finsihed in fourth place.
