Las Vegas call-backs, first round. The call-backs were held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Judges for the call0-backs included Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, Adam Shankman, Debbie Allen, Mia Michaels, and Tyce Diorio. 152 dancers from the six weeks of auditions were invited to compete for a place in the top 20. The 152 were reduded to a top 35 before being reduced to a top 20.

Episode 10 - October 26, 2009
This was the "Meet the Top 20" episode The three tap dances in the competition performed a trio tap dancer choreographed by Derick Grant. Each of those three tap dancers also performed duo non-tap dances with other competitors.

Part 1 of the season finale. The final six dancers performed:

Males: Ryan Di Lello, Russell Ferguson and Jakob Karr

Episode 24 - December 16, 2009
Part 2 of the season finale. Adam Lambert, Leona Lewis, and the Groovaloos Hip Hop Dancers performed. Lewis sang "I See You" from the film "Avatar". The season 6 winner was selected and announced.
