Introduction to Max Pollak's RumbaTap

Information about a style of dance, music, and rhythm known as "RumbaTap". The dancing style was conceived and developed by Austrian born tap dancer, choreographer, and New York City resident Max Pollak.

The style combines elements of tap dancing, American Jazz, and Cuban rhythms and music. Pollak established the RumbaTap Performing Ensemble in 1999, which at that time featured New York based Afro-Cuban percussionist Bobby Sanabria, Cuban Rumba dancer Barbaro Ramos, and Paul Carlon's New York based Latin jazz quartet "Grupo Los Santos".
