Longest Distance Male: David Meenan
Set a new Guinness World Record for longest distanced tap danced by a male. A record of 32 miles (51.49 kilometers) tap danced in 7 hours and 35 minutes was achieved at an event held at the Count Basie Track and Field in Red Bank, New jersey. (note that the Guiness World Record page 0on the Internet syas this record was achieved on either October 23, 2000 or October 8, 2001).
Longest Distance Tap Danced (Male)

Longest Distance Team
An Ensemble of 13 tap dancers from the Centre of Movement School of Performing Arts set a new Guineess world record for longest distance tap danced by a team. A record of 10.4 miles (16.73 kilometers) in 4 hours and 33 minutes was achieved on October 20, 2002. The tap dancers were Amanda Bell, Amy Coucette, Brianna Boland, Carol Jonson, David Bell, Deana Romeika, Jaife Kahle, Kelly Byrne. Meagan Romeika, Shannon Mosey, Shari Chaney, Stephen Assante and Wendy Almeida.
