The inaugural Odessa Tap Festival took place in August of 2015 in the Black Sea coastal town of Odessa.

California
LA Tap Festival (July or August)
Week-long intensive workshop for young dancers age 7 and older. Directed by Emmy award winner Jason Samuels Smith and Cathie Nichols. the granddaughter of Fayard Nichols of the famous Nichols Brothers. Usually features more then 100 dance classes in tap dancing, jazz, hip-hop, African, South Asian, and lindy hop. Also includes dance history lessons, panel discussions, and an opening night tap jam. The festival ends with an "All Star Tap Concert" featuring performances by all of the festival participants.

Annual tap dancing festival founded by Boston area professional tap dancer and instructor Julia Boynton. Held for the first time in 2007.

Michigan
Motor City Tap Festival (July or August)
The 9th Annual Motor city Tap Fest was held August 10-13, 2006 at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. The event featured four days of master classes, performances by faculty members and guest performances, a participants showcase, a tap jam, a young choreographers competition, and opportunities to meet master teachers.

St. Louis Tap Festival
Week-long, annual festival focused on tap dancing held for more than 20 years in St. Louis Missouri. The festival was founded in ? educate, promote, and celebrate the American art form of tap dancing. The 24th annual St. Louis Tap Festival was held July 27 through August 1st, 2015. That year the festival honored the life of event founder obert L. Reed, who passed away on July 18, 2015, shortly before the 2015 event began.
